Matt Woodson is the owner of Woodson Enterprises & Scattergunstore.com. In 1995, a high school friend invited him to a local gun club. On that day, Matt broke his first target and fell in love. Matt has always had a competitive fire in him, so he quickly began shooting NSSA Skeet tournaments. He gained a list of accomplishments, including numerous 100 straights in all gauges and was named to many Kentucky State High Average Teams. In 2007, Matt set his sights on ATA Trap, and that is currently his sole focus. You will likely see Matt on the Trapline at many shoots across the United States.

Matt also has a strong faith in the Almighty Jesus Christ. He is actively involved at his local church (The Remnant - Mayfield, KY), and also has a powerful Testimony that he loves to share! Matt has a powerful message on what the Lord has done in his life, and the Lord has given him a gift of relaying this message. He has learned through trials and tribulations that with Christ all things are possible.

Other than competitive shooting, Matt enjoys golf and upland bird hunting. His knowledge is not limited to only shooting, he has vast experience in the machining industry, doing both sales and machining.

Woodson Enterprises and Scattergunstore.com was started by Matt Woodson in 2007. This business was originated to help Matt make some spare trapshooting money, but has evolved into much more. Being a shooter himself, Matt was constantly searching for a business that catered to clay target shooters and their needs. Matt decided to quit searching and create the business himself. Woodson Enterprises has aligned themselves with many tried and true manufacturers. When the business was started, Matt made a motto stating, "I will never sell a product that I wouldn't use myself."
